I diagnosed a grinding/squeeling noise on my furnace to be the draft inducer fan. Good thing I looked up some YouTube vids on replacement for this part before calling someone out Saved myself a TON of money as replacement took about 20 minutes tops. Super easy. This was purchased to replace the Amtek 30-6631 I had on my furnace. Seems that the most common manufacturer for this same exact part is Rheem but there are many many manufacturers of this exact same blower.The product shipped fast and well protected in the manufacturer boxing. Seems to be high quality and runs great + quiet! Came with the gasket (some type of heat resistant felt which was the same as my old one). I'm also glad I spent time really digging through reviews on other sellers because some were advertised as a correct replacement but turns out had less power than this brand and had to be returned. This had no trouble with my 5 burner furnace. Very happy with it!

The blower motor on my furnace decided to kick the bucket in the middle of winter time however I couldn't really be upset, after all it served me very well for 27 years. I needed a replacement quick, fast and in a hurry lol. So turned to Amazon to find a cheap reliable replacement and bam... there it was. Just like always I did my homework and checked other customer reviews and after reading so many good reviews I decided to go for it. We'll it's been over a year since I purchased this blower motor and this is the second winter that I've been using it. The installation was a breeze and the part fit like a glove. After 2 winters it's still doing what it's suppose to do. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I'm actually a licensed HVAC contractor with 40 years of experience, so I know my stuff. My son-in-law's heat went out, and I helped him to troubleshoot the issue over the phone (he's a pretty smart feller). It was not convenient for him to pick up a replacement at the local distributor, and he said they'd be OK for a couple of days, so I found this one on Amazon. It fit perfectly and works like a champ. And, this one has a metal housing compared to the plastic housing on the OEM. Son-in-law installed it and furnace fired right up and worked fine.To be clear, I'm not advocating DIYers doing this without having some knowledge and an experienced guy on the phone with them, this was dealing with gas burners and important safety controls. The son-in-law is an engineer and I was in his ear walking him through every step and making sure all the safeties were checked and funtioning. So we did it the safe way. Just saying that this appears to be a quality product so long as it holds up.

Bought this to replace old one that the bearings were going out. So far so good, seems to work well.I did see a previous review saying the setscrew came loose on the fan and was hitting the shroud, so i did preventative maintenance and added lock-tight to it in hopes it will stay put. I will update if it has issues.

Item is not an exact duplicate of original, but bolts up well and fits the space. No provisions for limit switch.

Old inducer blower was making a scraping sound on start up, so it was time for a new one. I have a very old Rheem Centurion gas furnace, and needed to replace the 117847-00 part, so I was worried the price to repair a part was going to be astronomical. The cost to have someone come out and make the repair definitely was. The price of the part was great! Repair was super easy, and I like how the included gasket sat in place while installing. The start up noise is much quieter than the original.

The motor failed after approximately a week. After jumping through a few hoops I was issued a full refund. The process took quite a while, however any questions I had were answered completely.
