Works as it should. I tried a cheap aftermarket one and it didn’t work.

When my Amana furnace was short cycling I'd read about the flame sensor being a common issue. I cleaned mine (original part) off and the furnace ran again. Happy. Meanwhile, I ordered this part to have as spare.15 months later the furnace is short cycling again so I removed my original, and 1x cleaned, flame sensor and installed this new one. Furnace fired right up.I'm ordering another to have on hand. Cheap insurance.

My furnace restarts every 30 second because the flame sensor malfunction. The HVAC technician cleaned it but the problem persist. He recommended to replace the circuit board that cost $300. I bought the flame sensor and installed it myself. Problem solved.

Our furnace would start up and I would see flames but then it would cut off. I guess this is the flame sensor or something like that. My grandpa came over to help us with it as he spent his career as an h-vac professional but alas that was many moons ago and he said he's not sure how the newer systems work. I ended up just cleaning all the sensors and it fired right up and worked for about two months. It happened again where it would try to boot up several times and I ended up just cleaning one sensor at a time till it worked and this was the one that was bad. I cleaned it once more and it lasted about one month and then I just ordered this and replaced it and it works like a champ and hasn't gone out since. It's been about two months no issues. I cleaned the old one with rubbing alcohol and a micro fiber cloth. Anyway, great product and easy fix. If it happens again I'll order more.
