This was purchased as a gift for my husband. I did some reading about the different materials slides come in and decided the brass sounded like what my husband would enjoy. He was so surprised at this item and excited to learn how to play with it. It is a beautiful piece and has a unique sound. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something new to get their guitar enthusiast or a seasoned slide player!

First let me say that this slide is a real work of art and for the right purpose, it'd be great.That's why I gave it its rightful 5 star rating. However, I had to send mine back for a refund. I'm used to a Dunlop glass slide that is so light you can hit individual strings with it. The Rock Slide was so heavy on my left ring finger (the one I use for slide) that it kept banging the fret board and clacking on the frets.Amazon was kind enough to refund my money and I appreciate it.Don't let my personal taste in slides influence your decision, if you like the sound and feel of a heavy brass slide, this is for you. The inside taper and the adjacent finger rest are added bennies on this model.

I love this slide. It feels great and sounds great. It’s a little easier for me to use with the cut out at the bottom.

I love rock slides, unfortunately I have spent a lot of money finding my size. I play on my Ring finger the Joey Landreth (too small), Ariel Posen (Balltip) (too small), medium tarnished (too small), the large tarnished (too big). They’ve made for great gifts to my slide playing guitar friends, it’s just a bummer because if I fine my size the 150.00 I’ll have spent finding it would be worth it (Not).
