RUTLAND Pellet Stove Vent Brush is made with poly bristles and a heavy-duty ball tip to guide the brush through vent pipe offsets and bends. Long lasting and perfect sizing allow thorough cleaning of a pellet stove pipe or dryer vent. Available in 3″, 4″ and 5″ brush sizes to fit your stove’s vent pipe.

These brushes are designed to clean both pellet stoves vents and dryer vents. On one side of the card is information about using them to clean pellet stove vents and the other side is about using them to clean out dryer vents. The brushes are designed to navigate a sharp turning radius without getting caught in elbows. Brush filament is 0.020-Inch poly.

Works excellent for a 3’’ diameter pellet stove double walled pipe. Dropped a weighted pull rope down the pipe, attached the brush, pulled it out through two 90’s and 15 feet of pipe. The thread on the brush is 1/4-20.

The pellet stove brush works well. It is sturdy enough to go down the chimney and remove the build-up. My stove pipe has angles in it, so I don't use this with either the rigid or flexible rods. Instead, I attach it to a chain and pull it through the pipe. It would be nice to have a ring on at least one end of the brush to clip the chain to. I wrapped a wire around and through the brush to create a ring for the chain clip, so now it works the way I need it to.

I like this product it does what is intended to do. Only thing that it didn't feet on the flex pole had to drill it in. That's why the 4 stars.

This is the dumbsizing product phase where they minimize something to maximize profits. It's about 3/4 the size of the previous generation; That's 3/4 the length, 3/4 the density, and 3/4 the shaft size. I included a picture compared the drive end of a 1/4" drive socket. This won't fir on your old 1/4" NPT rod. 1/4-20 is a different animal. I had to get a new rod. I would have given it a 2☆, except the one at the store had such floppy bristles that it made this one look awesome.

It does go about a 90 degree corner but the bristles become rather mangled. It is now of a diameter less than 3". Tempered steel (or brass) wire brush would be far better choice.
