I have a dog that will not groom. and has thin dog hair. This works wonderfully for me.It breaks the knots up enough to easily pull them out, or the comb gets them. Actually, I wish it was a bit sharper. I didn't find it to be to sharp, I did have to pull a bit to get the knots out, but it works for what I need.

Gets the mats out. Take your time and let the tool do the work. Cuts through the toughest of matted hair. I made up to 20 or 30 passes being careful to remove small amounts each time. Especially when the mat is close to the skin. Before we had to cut out the mats with scissors. Again, patience and remove small amounts from the outside of the mat working eventually to the center. Best tool I have ever used!

This product worked wonders getting the matted and tangled hair out of our cat’s fur. He is 19 years old gland has trouble now grooming his long fur. We had trouble grooming him as well because his skin often was caught up no the matted fur. This is the only dematting tool we every purchased the was both effective and didn’t hurt or stress out or cat during the process. Thank you for creating such a great product.

The nut at the top is impossible to take off even with pliers. Maybe I got a defective one I'll order another one and update if the other one works.

Feels wonderful in the hand. Made very well. My pup is in jail and I have been visiting him and starting the work on his hair there since he's having to wait on a list to be fixed sadly. However, beautiful tool. I look forward to getting all his tough spots gone. Definitely recommend

The blades on this comb are super sharp, so a very gentle touch is needed when using them on canines' fur. Apply very light pressure so you do not cut your pup. I sliced my thumb twice by touching the comb's blades and was shocked by the sharpness. This comb could really hurt a pup if it is used inappropriately.
