Easy to assemble. Great value. The quality of the trays are very durable. The lighting is just right. My plants started growing in no time and helped me get my garden started.

This is a nice inexpensive setup for starting seeds. They worked very well. The built in lights are great. My only complaint is that the cells are rigid and sturdy, but it is too hard to push the seedlings out from the bottom. You have to try to scoop them out and this is a little rough on the little seedlings. You leave a lot behind in the cell and probably some roots. See the photo. When I potted up the seedlings are thriving despite this so many not as big of a deal as I think it is.

8 April 2024 - The seller reached out and offered to send a new set, completely free of charge. I declined the but was very happy with the offer. The set still works and is growing my seedlings perfectly for the upcoming planting season.For the first time, I had all five seed trays filled with seeds. I went to plug in the final light and it doesn’t work. When one doesn’t work, apparently the whole set won’t work if it’s plugged in as well. This is additionally frustrating as it’s beyond my return window. Don’t waste your money.

This works great for the seeds I wanted to start. Each hole isn't super big so keep that in mind, but the attached lights are very convenient.

I didn’t open it right away, but when I recently got to the kid to start some seeds, everything looked good. That was until I went to turn the lights on to see if they worked. They did not. I googled to see if I was doing something wrong, but still don’t work. I sent an email to the address on the paper, letting them know the situation and that was at least a week ago. Still haven’t gotten a reply and now it’s too late to return the item. I’m giving the kid three stars because it looks nice. It is made of decent material. However, very disappointed in the seller.

I'm very pleased with these seeds starting kit. They are easy to use. When I'm growing my seeds. I set the timer for 12 hours on the brightest setting and leave it alone. The lights go off 12 hours later. I check my plants daily to see if they need water.
