We bought this for my son as a Christmas present. Unfortunately the scooter was not able to hold a charge. I reached out to Amazon customer service about the issue and they recommended that I reach out to the manufacturer. I contacted Segway directly and they had great customer service. They provided a shipping label for us to send the scooter back to repair it. They repaired the scooter and sent it back to us and now my son is able to use the scooter with no issue.

Review after a year...TLDR: doesn't last a year and poor customer service...This was purchased for my 10 year old son for Christmas 2023. We ordered it Thanksgiving week and received it shortly after. It was a good scooter for the first 9 months. Battery life was ok, speed was right for a 10 year old. Unfortunately, at the nine month point, it would lose power and start beeping intermittently. After a few weeks of that, I decided to submit a warranty claim at the beginning of November. They verified the issue over the phone (they could hear the beeping) and sent a shipping label. We shipped it off and waited. Weeks later we received the scooter back in trashed box with no padding whatsoever. To add to our surprise the issue was not fixed. I called the support line and was told the water indicators had been activated.We live in Florida, it is humid all the time and it rains. We keep a tight leash on when our son is allowed to ride, and he has not ridden in the rain or gone through any large puddles. At most he has ridden when the road is still damp. Bottom line, they refused to fix under warranty. While not happy with that, I went to order the parts from Segway's official shop so he would have something to ride. I found all the parts I needed and placed an order for $65 on 19 November 2023. As of today, 9 Jan 2024, my credit card has been charged but the parts have not shipped. I have called three times about the order with no success. The representative has verified the parts are in stock, yet they still will not ship the parts. They ask if I would like to cancel the order, as if that would do any good. Each time they have sent a message to the "warehouse" to get the order shipped. In each call, they also promised a follow-up email within 24 hours. I have yet to receive a single email from these interactions (yes, i checked my junk etc). If I cancelled the order, all I would have a $200+ intermittently working scooter. I would not recommend this scooter or this company for your business.Bottom line: If you live in a place where it is humid or it rains, do not purchase this scooter. If you expect the scooter to work more than 9 months, do not order this scooter. If you expect part orders to be fulfilled, do no order this scooter or from Segway. If you expect decent customer support, do not buy this scooter or do business with Segway. I am so disappointed with this experience, this is the first Amazon review I have ever written in an attempt to warn others away from this scooter and brand.

Great scooter for 5-10 year olds. Very easy to operate. Connected via Bluetooth to iPhone with no issues. The app lets you control speed and other factors. Very happy with purchase.

Scooter has been great kid lives it however, box was open some packing was missing. Front wheel had debris on it like it had been used. Wasn’t happy but kid saw it and didn’t want to crush him by sending it back.

I bought this for my 12 year old son for his birthday a month ago. He LOVES it. It’s fast enough that he can really get around but not so fast that I fear for his life!I bought the lower powers model for my 7yo for his birthday 7 months ago and he’s still goi bf strong and loves his too! Definitely a worthy purchase.I may come back and update this review after a year or two - we’ll see how the battery does!

This is my 2nd e-scooter in a week. I got the Gotrax GKS and after 1 hour of use, the scooter dies and would charge or start again.... I bought 2 mo.ths early for my son bday and.luckily I had 2 weeks left in my return policy and got a full refund.I decided to spend a little money more for quality and I'm glad I did. This scooter was much easier to setup and feel a lot sturdier. Battery works 3x longer. It feels twice as fast and doesn't have those awkward foot sensors like the Gotrax.

Según yo lo compre a buen precio cerca de 5 , me gusta que es muy estilizado, no trae luz ni pantalla, la baterÃa dura como 40 minutos , en comentarios de otras personas ponen que no sirve, que ( pita mientras lo usan y va a una velocidad de como 10 km) pero lo arregle ENCENDIDO PRECIONAS EL FRENO Y EÑ ACELERADOR DURANTE 5 SEGUNDOS Y SE REINICIA Y LISTO LO ENCIENDES DENUEVO Y YA!
