I looked at many products, and I don't see any competitors that offer a product like this. The mounting ears make it really easy to install. The slight angle of the upper stem allows it to be installed flush to my post, and it puts the hose at a convenient angle. The stem of this valve rises very high when fully open which allows for greatly reduced flow restriction as compared to most spigot valves. The valve shows all the marks of a high quality product, and my past experience with this manufacturer gives me confidence that it will give years of reliable service.

This was perfect for my post mounted outdoor faucet that started leaking. I just cut off the copper pipe, pushed this in place, and screwed it into the post. Took three minutes to install and saved me a $200 plumbing bill. Perfect solution!

I've been meaning (for 8 years now) to run a water line from our house into our attached garage. The main reason was for our fridge ice maker but I also wanted a hose access for those winter months. I finally decided to tackle the project so I turned to the "SharkBite" fittings.These are simply amazing. So easy to use and super fast. Once you prep your line properly, you simply push the line in the fitting, make sure it's seated all the way and Done! No more soldering. I especially like the design of the tap itself. It has a nice grip. These are amazing especially for close quarters. Even if you mess up, you can simply remove them and fix your error.Overall, these are a lifesaver. I know many people say these type of fittings don't last but I've seen homes that have had them for years with no leaks. I took a chance with these and I'm confident they will last a long time (hopefully forever). I highly recommend these especially if plumbing is not your thing.Pros:Super easy to installreusablesolid, no leaksfull brass fittingCons:costly compared to normal fittingscan only re-use so many times

I love shark bite, but in this hose bib, the stem washer will sometimes get pulled right off the little screw that holds it in place. I had to reposition mine twice before using a small metal washer to give the set screw more purchase. But with that little fix it works great.
