The mat is easy to roll and sticks to your countertop with ease(as long as there is no water or flour under the mat itself). It’s thin which is great for storage and moving. The mat can pretty easily slide/shift on your countertop with enough force. I only make sourdough and because of that I don't use all the conversions and extra measurements on the mat. For its price point and basic features it meets our needs but I could see why a more serious baker or chef would want more.

My boyfriend is talented in the kitchen. He makes all sorts of breads and delicious kitcheny wonderful things. I wanted to get him to make breads and goodies more often, but I knew what a pain it was to setup and get sorted for in the kitchen all the time. I was looking around at things that could make his life easier and I stumbled across this.Just roll it out, sprinkle some flour on it and start working on your dough (or other goodies). Cleaning up is a breeze afterwards as well. Just throw into the sink and give it a scrub and put it aside to dry! So much easier than making a whole big mess out of your kitchen space.I'm glad I bought this for him. Our house often smells like tasty tasty bread things XDIf you're thinking of getting this as a gift for someone, I'll leave you with this from Julia Child: "I think careful cooking is love, don't you? Purchased a larger one of these a while back, and when this popped up on a lightening deal, I grabbed it. They stick to the counter and do not slide, and the printed rulers and circles make it very easy to roll dough out to the appropriate size and shape. These mats lift off the countertop easily, leaving the surface clean, and these mats easily clean up in the sink. They roll up (or fold up) for easy compact storage. If you bake a lot, have at least one of these around.

Loved the silicon material. It made the mat lay completely flat, even after it had been stored , rolled up. Corners laid completely flat. Great quality and size.

I like this product so much that I just bought a second one to give to my sister. The measurements on the sheet make it so easier to roll out dough to exactly the correct size. Another great feature is the cleaning aspect. So much easier to scarpe off the dough for the silicon sheet then cleaning up the counter. A must tool for any baker.

It is a good mat, but the one I recieved was much smaller than the advertised extra large size.It was only 13 by 18 inches, (15.5 by 19.2 edge to edge).I returned it.
