I have a RC 4†lift on my 94’ B4000. After tons of research into the TTB 4wd suspension, I learned that the pitman arm supplied In the lift kit was not long enough for a 4†lift, it’s better suited to a 2†lift at the most.I ordered this 6†(in reality 5.5â€) drop pitman arm Thursday night and paid the 14$ for the express shipping. It arrived Saturday mid day, and I installed it immediately.First impressions are it’s SOOO BEEFY compared to the stock, or other aftermarket pitman arms, it’s 2x as thick and 2x as wide as the other arms. I’ll probably break a tie rod 1,000 times before I break this pitman arm.And the best part is it corrected my steering angles and made the tie rods parallel to the TTB axles, finally fixing my bump steer issues! 10/10 would recommend, it just sucks that no other brands beside Sky Jacker cares enough to supply the correct arm with their lift kits.If your TTB is on a lift kit, this is probably the most important part of your suspension, YOU HAVE TO GET THIS!!!

Wow, I don't know why I waited so long to get this ,oh yeah, the price . But my patience paid off when I found it open- boxed on amazon. And for way less . I am thrilled to say the least. Plus it put my steering angle almost back to factory specs, even with a 6" lift. My bumpsteer is all but gone. Thanks amazon, for always having what I need. Awesome job, Thanks. Mike R.

A must for anyone with a lifted Ranger. After install my steering linkage lines up perfectly. Wish my lift came with the right part so I wouldn't have to buy this separately but w/e. Steep in price but well worth the money.

I installed this on my 1996 Ford Ranger 4x4 after I added a 4" lift kit several years ago. I used this to bring the steering linkage into phase with the TTB front suspension and it has worked perfectly. Keep in mind that getting the old pitman arm off of the steering gear box WILL be tough. I ended up replacing the gear box after breaking three pullers trying to get the original off. The gear box turned out to be cheaper than buying more tools and took roughly one hour to swap where I had spent days trying to get the original pitman arm off of the gear box.

Ive called several other companies providing ' 4 to 6" ' drop pitman arms,and this was the only one true to its claim.Yes,its a little expensive,but if you ve lifted your truck (in my case a 93 ford ranger with twin traction beam) 6 to 8" in the front,this is the one you want for correct geomotry for your steering components.
