This water collection barrel has so many great uses! I can't wait to try it out on my car next!Assembly: The assembly was super easy. Please read the instructions! The instructions are clear and indicate where the seals go. It's easy to put the seal in the wrong spot if you're not reading the instructions. I absolutely love how you actually screw the different parts in. This makes this barrel super sturdy and durable! The extra base is to raise the pressure of the water coming out and I was super surprised that it does just that!Water collection: I love how you can put this barrel directly under your gutter to collect the rainwater. I'm going to be moving this to my side driveway, near my gutter this weekend so that I can utilize it for car washing and the front gardens/bushes.This barrel has had absolutely no leaks. It has held the water from rain just fine. This barrel is a must have tool for anyone tending to their yards and gardens. Highly recommended! Get one today!

It leaks at the junction points. I followed the directions precisely attaching the screws opposite of each other and making sure the seal rings are in the right place but it still leaks. The seals should be bigger and better. I was past the return window so I can’t return it.

The bottom-most joint will not seal, so the thing only held a few gallons at best. The plastic it's made from is so soft that the screws that are used to assemble it will strip out the holes with the drill nearly on it's lowest setting (3 out of 20), using a screwdriver wasn't much of an improvement its so soft that the point of failure needs less force than actually installing the screw from the start. My solution was to refill the screw holes with clear silicone, and to run a bead all around each section, on top of the gasket that comes pre-installed. Unfortunately, it hasn't rained since, so I can't say if my solution was worth the effort, and the barrel has been put away for winter. I'll find out in the spring how well my fix works.

Very well packed item and a brilliant concept, I think. Easy enough to disassemble and store for winter. However, junctions are not watertight. I had to reinstall or reset the screws multiple times to keep water from leaking out the middle and top seams, so essentially I was only able to collect a half barrel of water. No doubt a product like this will be better built and functional in the future. For now, I will look for a one-piece barrel less likely to leak.

So this is the second rain barrel I've purchased with this company because I was so pleased with our last model. This model was easier to set up than the last model we got. Solid hose and asethically pleasing. We use it to water our garden with and so far it's working great. I've purchased 5 rain barrels up to this point with different companies and this is honestly the one I would reccomend to people if they were just starting out.

It’s been 3 days and I’m still on step 1. The seal seems to be glued on or idk. The tool that’s provided is a bit to big so it doesn’t grip.
