I needed a replacement beater for a 38 year old machine. This fits perfectly. The beater is heavy duty and I won't have to worry about any coating peeling off with age.

I like that this is solid stainless steel. It is very sturdy and connects securely to my mixer. What I especially like about this flat beater is that there’s no coating to slough off into the food in the bowl. Some have mentioned that it doesn’t fit the mixing bowl well, that the gap between the sides of the bowl and beater are significant. The clearance is a bit more than the OEM part for sure. This doesn’t bother me at all being I was trained to “scrape down” the bowl sides when using a stand mixer multiple times during mixing. It’s just what I know. The beater does do an excellent job of mixing ingredients and cleans up easily. I always hand wash and it still is a breeze to clean. I can find a downside to the is product and would recommend. I own a six quart bowl lift KitchenAid if that’s important to know. One of the ones Costco sold some years ago with 595 watt motor. Lucked out on that….

I have a kitchen aid mixer I got in the late 90’s. The beater has been flaking and I couldn’t find the right size. I don’t know my model number but I measured it and compared to the picture. I had ordered others with no success. This one is perfect! It’s actually a little longer than the original but I just used it and it’s perfect.

Now I have a beater to use for everything!!It’s better not to use any type rubber or plastic to make whipping cream.This beater is just right and heavy duty. It will last forever on my six quart Kitchen Aid mixer.Thank you.

The white enamel coating on my wife's KitchenAid mixer beater had started to flake and bubble off. A poor design and health hazard. This beater is solid stainless steel, with no paint or coating to peel off. It will last forever!

This flat beater appears to be actually stainless steel unlike the KitchenAid original piece that claimed to be stainless steel. It fits well vertically in my KitchenAid Professional 600 6qt lift mixer, I didn't have to adjust my machine. However it is a good amount narrower than my original. First photo is my original for comparison. Photos use the same spatula, I couldn't get it any further down between the original and the bowl, but there is a LARGE gap between this product and my bowl. I'm going to keep it to see how it goes, maybe it'll make scraping the sides easier? I'll update if it's horrendous.

I have a VERY OLD mixmaster that my mother gave me for Christmas the year I got married. The paint took longer to peal off than the new one bought a few years ago but both got replaced at the same time. Both beaters work awesomely!

Pretty happy to have moved over to stainless steel. Been through 2 of those while coated default ones, that kept flaking...This one is steel. No flaking.
