The seat cushion is not durable as advertised. I don't weigh over 170 lbs and use it less than the suggested time per day. The cushion is now lopsided and the padding broken down. The 'leather' has also peeled away from the seams exposing the cloth mesh underneath. I reached out to customer service just to see if I could buy a replacement of just this part and never received a reply. Avoid this, you get what you pay for, without the warranty even being considered.

The wings on the seat leave the middle too narrow and dig into your legs, leading to a very uncomfortable experience sitting for any length of time.

Pros, the chair is comfortable and has mostly held up for me for 6 months so far without any issues in the seat or back. The major con for me are that the armrests are not well designed, where over time the screw holding the armrest to the chair will loosen and eventually the armrest will "snap off". Easy to fix in that you undue the four screws in the armrest, then re-attach and screw in the armrest into the base, but have to watch out that the springs in the armrest don't come out at which point now the arm will no longer properly go forward/backwards or side to side. I want the armrest in one position anyway, so that was easy to fix by just duct taping the whole assembly to prevent any movement, but it'd be more ideal to have a better put together chair in the first place and not have to deal with it.

I bought my Vartan Gaming chair from Staples in person. Week 2 the armrest fell off. Took it apart and with some work got it back on. Since then, its continued to fall off 3 more times. As well as the stitching has ripped a good amount on the cushion. I've owned it for about 9 months now. Otherwise, this chair has served its purpose.
