Three Ways to Play:
- Play with Your Hands: When you hit the steel tongue drum with your hands, you do not hit it with your palms, but with your fingers, which produces a louder tone;
- Play with Finger Picks: If you are familiar with the tongue drum, you can try using finger picks and use any one or more of the three fingers of the index finger, middle finger, and ring finger to play.
- Playing with Drumsticks: You can play with one mallet in one hand, or with two mallets in both hands (this is the most common way).

Got this for my granddaughter and she loves her drum. She claps the sticks together like a real drummer before she plays her drum, it is so cute. It is something that will grow with her. I love the little zippered bag that came with it, it keeps it organized and together.

I purchased the 6inch, it’s a great gift for a kid or preteen. My little sister loves it, I ended up purchasing a bigger size for a better tone & reverb. The smaller one has a noticeably duller tone, but it’s great considering the size & price. It’s very durable she ended up dropping it the first day & it’s doing great. It doesn’t need to be Tuned, which I’m loving we took it out the bag & she’s had fun with it since. Very easy to learn, she’s already playing Happy Birthday, Twinkle little star, & See you again.

I absolutely love this rain drum. I have recommended it to many people since getting mine. Just open the box, take off the plug on the bottom ( water will collect if ya don't ). Put it under an area that rain hits the most and set back and enjoy the music.
