Worked well on Cub Cadet LT1042, was easy to install, and fixed the starting problem.How did I know I needed this part?On the old one, turning the switch, I'd hear a click, but no crank, and no start. Every once in a while, it would crank. I cleaned the contacts to this solenoid, still nothing. Also cleaned the contacts at the starter. Then, I used a 12 awg wire to short the two poles (one of them is 12V constant, the other is 12V when the solenoid is activated), which is what happens when the solenoid is engaged (it connect the power to the other pole), and the engine cranked, so I knew this solenoid (relay) was defective.This solenoid has 2 tabs for the ignition switch. My old solenoid had 1 tab, and the ground wire was connected to the mounting screw. I had to cut the grounding wire's circular type of connector, and put a connector that fits into the tab.

First time replacing the solenoid; I burned the original out trying start my rider (fyi - this was because my fuel pump was bad). The solenoid is hard to get to but easy to install - on my cub cadet it's under the battery bracket. I also bought a maintenance kit that included the fuel pump, filters , and spark plug. Once all replaced the mower started and ran like new :-)

I have an old John Deere Sabre tractor. It wouldn't start and I had recently replaced the starter and ignition switch. I was hoping that the new starter or switch wasn't the culprit this time. I found the starter solenoid buried under dirt and grass under the seat in the battery compartment. I removed the starter solenoid which was held in by a few 10 mm bolts. It was very rusted and looked bad. I was happy to find this on Amazon and I was hoping that it would bring my Deere back to life. After installing the new starter solenoid, she fired right up. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a John Deere Sabre and has starting problems. I'm sure it fits other types of John Deere tractors. Google will help you determine if this fits your tractor properly.

Excelente calidad. Pediré mas ya que necesito otros.No viene marcado los contactos (por ejemplo, I y la S), por lo que hay que fijarse como viene si lo cambias. No es complicado.

Once I diagnosed the problem with my Deere D140 was the starter solenoid, I looked for an economical replacement. This part was economical, fit perfectly and after replacement, the lawn tractor now starts promptly. Very pleased with this purchase.
