I used this for the pies that I cooked over the holidays. It did a nice job keeping the edges from overcooking. It would be nice if the fit was a bit snugger and if the overhang would stay in better place. Overall, I would recommend it.

It works as advertised, but it’s a little short to fit securely around my large pie dish. I make sure to put the seam over one of the handles of the pie dish so it won’t fall off while cooking. Foil still provides better burn protection, but this product is a lot easier to use. Unlike foil, I leave this one on the pie for the entire baking process.

Didn't work for me. Wouldn't stay on the pie crust in the oven.

Though they stay on the pie edge, they didn't keep the crust from over browning. Crusts didn't burn as they would have without the shields, but they were still a bit too brown, and the filling that got on the silicone was very difficult to wash off. I'm back to struggling with foil!
