Easy to form the pie crust in these pans. Perfect when bringing someone dessert without needing them to return the dish.

We organized a Civil War event recently at a camp ground and wanted to have ‘tin looking’ plates for folks to eat their meals. These were perfect for the occasion. Although not a recyclable material - it served the purpose and held up for the meals we served.

Okay, I make lots of pies and give them away. These are not thick pie tins so if that is what you need shop elsewhere. That said, they definitely are very usable and great for giving away. I have washed two and re-used them with no problem. But I wouldn't recommend these for multiple re-use. Certainly thrilled I got them and so much cheaper then buying them in small packages at the regular store.

I bought these for a friend who makes spaghetti pies for all her friends who need a little help in the kitchen. She loves them - they are slightly larger and slightly heavier than the regular weight, so they hold up well to the heavy contents without bending. They also hold a better portion size for an entree rather than a dessert. Probably not "commercial" grade, but very effective for home use - the bottoms seem to be more solidly reinforced with the "star pattern" as opposed to the standard grocery store type.

These pans are the same size and shape as the disposable pies pans that we used to buy at the grocery store for our pie project. We assemble pies and freeze them in gallon Ziplock bags for a charity fundraiser. People buy them and bake them at their convenience. The pans we bought locally were changed by the manufacturer and became much more expensive. It was important to us to make pies that would fit into the Ziplock bags to freeze. These pans are perfect for us, and a good price.

We used these as “dinner plates†for my daughters graduation party (BBQ theme). We had so many compliments on them and even had one guest say she was going to plan a party just so she could use the idea! They also made nice “to go†containers for left overs! My opinion is they were nice and Sturdy and they held a lot of food.
