The heat mat shipped and arrived quickly, no damages. It operates as expected. The mat plugs into the controller and the controller with the temperature probe controls the on-off operation of the mat based on the measured temperature, the setting temperature and the heating cycle. The instruction is an eye test because of its very small fine print, but it has enough details. Here is a strange minor issue. When everything is plugged in, the controller is about 60 inches from the mat. But the temperature probe lead wire coming out of the controller is only about 40 inches. Not a problem for me. But if your mat can't be moved close to the electrical outlet for whatever reason, the temperature probe may not reach the soil. Hope this helps.
