Since I've become a single mom, I've had to add more job titles to my name. Plumber wasn't one that I expected at all. We needed a replacement flapper for months and months. Apparently, leaving the home was easier than completing this very easy fix, but I digress. This fit perfectly, seems way more sturdy than what i originally had and was super easy to install. I didn't even need a tutorial to figure it out! So glad I bought this. I've saved so much water already.

Landlords used putty to seal the previous hardware better, flaps wouldn't fit correctly when replaced and constantly ran. These fit neatly in the chaos they created and sealed without an issue.

Smooth initial install. Well packaged. Longevity TBD but good value so far.

Installed easily and quickly. Another brand bought just 9 mos ago already going bad. Should last longer than 9 mos, I think. This product fits and does the job. Hopefully it will last longer than 9 mos. A tip- to keep from having to guess on how far up the links to go to attach the clip to adjust closing speed, count the links on the chain, mine was 10, and attach on the exact same link. Majority of these chains are about the same length and it will cut down on guessing where to attach the clip so it will fall at the right time. I always would never guess right and it would either not close at all or close too soon. Or it would hang up on a twisted chain. Just a tip that helped me and maybe you too.

I bought a generic red flapper from a box store to solve a leaking reservoir problem. It failed to solve it. This blue flapper did the trick. I particularly like the low profile top to this which allows it to open more fully than those red generic replacements.
