My toilet started hissing on and off and after some internet research I determined it probably needed a new one of these rings. Installing it was a breeze, and now my toilet is quiet once again.

I was not sure about this gasket when I opened it since it was slightly different than the original OEM part. I put it in and it stopped the slow leaking issue I was having from the tank to the toilet. Worked great!

Was trying to fix this small flushing issue. Slow hissing sounds, as if the water level wasn't enough. At first I thought it was the flush mechanism, but then after a little digging, it was I wanted to try this option. Plumbers would charge over $50+ just to inspect this and drop by, so $9.50+ for this is a great value. Super easy to replace and install. Takes less than 3 minutes, no tools required. Did it's job, and now no more running refills.

When this ring arrived I thought it wouldn't work bc it was a different "tension" than the old. We learned it's bc the old one was, well, old... This immediately stopped our Toto toilet from running after flushing. I'm keeping this seller's info as I have 2 more Totos the same age and it's a matter of time.

Basically the gasket will fit all of the new flushing towers from Toto and this system replaces the old flapper system which is OK but not great. The flapper system fails often leading to leakage and water loss. That is not to say that this might happen as well with the new tower system but it is a newer mouse trap and if Toto switched to this newer system then it has to be better than what has been the standard for many decades.

It took 2 mins to replace. Inside the toilet tank, there was a parts list and this one matched the part noted inside the Toto toilet tank.Different colour but fits and seals which is what counts.Saved a plumber call

Authentic Toto part. A bit pricey for the part. It was exactly what was needed to stop the ghost flushing.
