Already owned KingKast fishing pliers but, the nylon belt case did not work well as it collapsed as soon as the pliers was removed to use. Replacing the fishing pliers back in the belt case was a minor ordeal.This rubberized belt case stays open and grips the inserted pliers well where it won’t accidentally fall out.A minor improvement but one the makes using then replacing the pliers much easier.

If you buy the pliers made by the same company you will be happy with both. The pliers don't lock in like a Kydex holster but it's good enough for fishing and the lanyard is nice too.

Nice sheath overall. Just be cognizant that the tip of your pliers does stick out the bottom of the sheath. Be very careful sitting in your vehicle or boat. You will tear the upholstery. Very simple yet sturdy slip on belt clip. The sheath itself rotates on belt clip for different positioning of your pliers.

Nice sheathe, I prefer the clip over loops for belts as I fish in shorts that don't have belt loops. The price is great, get it!Side note: the listing says lanyard is included but I didn't receive one. It isn't a big deal though
