When I unboxed it and looked it, I thought; did I buy the wrong one ?? The vent lines are short pieces of hose instead of the long ones that you have to run into the frame. So beware if you cross deep water! But it has a cleaner look . The other vacuum line is not there anymore either. It looks like it is internal now. It installed without issues until it was time to hook up the heater wiring, the connector is wrong. You can either splice it in or replace the connector. Easiest way is to swap the whole wiring and plug with the one on old carburetor. I had to adjust the idle screw quite a bit, but after that it fired right up and runs great.

Saw the carb for only 40$ figured I don't have much to loose. Old carb was so nasty I didn't feel like trying to clean it. Swapped over a few parts, used my old diaphragm because the one that came with was sticking just alittle. Old one fit better and used my old fuel heater. I wasn't expecting it to actually work sense it seems hit or miss on these cheap carbs. Got it primed and fired right up. I did the standard 2.5 turns back from close on the AFR adjustment and seems to run good. Drove it for 45 min without an issue. Adjusted the idle alittle too. Float isn't sticking yet which seems to happen to these brand new so that's good. Seems good for now. May update later if it goes bad.

I recently bought a older model 4-wheeler.It had been setting for about a year or so, the battery was dead of course and it had a miss and water in the carburetor,so I decided to order this one.It was easy to install, didn't take any time at all.The fit was exactly what I ordered. No problem what so ever.It runs like a scared hant now.Thanks.

The carburator and filters look and fit like the oem parts on my Honda rancher trx 350. The new carb does have an internally molded vacuum line that replaces an external hose from my old carb(better design imo -without the hose that degrades), but the function is the same. It was a very straightforward swap out but my engine wouldn't fire after replacing the carb. I soon realized the engine wasn't getting gas. I had to twist/open the black [idle adjustment screw](the one in the picture with a spring along the shaft, circled in blue). and open it a bit, in order for the carb to release gas into the engine. After that, it started ran perfectly and I adjusted the idle engine speed accordingly.I liked getting the replacement filters as well, but the gas filter in my kit was not built well. You can see in the picture that the filter paper separated, so my filter was worthless. I ended up buying a separate in-line filter, which didn't originally come with my 4 wheeler's design, because I wanted a higher quality filter to make sure small particulates don't get into the carburetor and cause the needle valve to stick open,(which causes fuel to flow freely out the bottom of the carb). I am happy with my purchase.

This carb costs about 1/10 of a factory replacement. It’s actually cheaper than the rebuild kit for the mikuni. So I read the reviews which were good and gave it a shot. It bolted right up with no adjustments needed in my case. I did have to use some of the pieces from the old carb when fitting the choke and maybe for that pre heater, I can’t remember now.But anyway someone with decent mechanical know how should be able to make this work and for the price it can’t be beat. My Honda fires right up every time and will idle as long as I want it to. Power is the same as new.

Swapped this carb over along with having change a few parts from the original carb. I got it on and it fired right up.Ran good for 5 minutes then stopped running and starting pouring gas out. I’m about to take it off and apart to adjust the float. If not then I’ll just stick the jets into my original carb. That’s the only issue with it is from previous “mechanic†messing them up.
