I used one in our kitchen when we re did the floor. We put the outlet under the island for addition power. Works great.

The box says that it is only rated for 10A but it is listed with Amazon as a 20A outlet. That said, it is made well and looks good.

These plugs are a great option for installation in rock countertops. The only complaint is the user needing to be instructed as how to use the open and closing button. These plugs are not GFI so when used near water, the must be wired into a separate GFI outlet.

Nice product, GREAT IDEA! For this kind of money I shouldn't have to remove the top and run a grinder flap wheel over the hinge edge to make clearance to allow outlet to pop up. Before clearancing when actuated outlet would only pop up 1/8" and would have to manually coax past that point. Since modification I LOVE THEM, just feel fit & finish could have been better.

Being an electrician I found the product to be a great addition! Laying out the location for access from below and having an ocellating tool made the install easier’

J'ai utilisée cette prise sur un îlot de cuisine en bois et la finition est très belle!Je suis électricien et la conception est sécuritaire: les connections au panneau ce font via un bornier fixe et des fils flexibles relient le bornier à la prise! La boite est très profonde et vient avec des braquettes pour la fixer autant par le dessus que par le dessous.Il vous faudra un connecteur de boite pour tenir le fil car il n'est pas fourni (n'importe quelle quincaillerie en ont)

I waited so long for these to come and when they did one didn’t work at all and was unusable and we were able to use the other but it has to be manually opened. Doesn’t flip open.I didn’t have time to order more so we had to use it. It’s a reall source of frustration.
