This set was exactly what i needed to file down the inside of a brass shower handle to allow a better fit. I'm sure i will use it for other tasks in the future. Variety of attachments is handy and handle is very stable. Great product at a great price for general use!

These are shockingly the best I have ever used.I actually only bought this set for the handle to hold a tungsten carbide awl for metal drawing. I have two diamond tooth and a normal file sets for fine work.I tried these files and to my surprise, they worked better than all my others! They filed material faster but still left everything smooth. I simply could not believe how well they worked. Great value and great tool.

The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the files themselves feel frail with a rough finish (in the overall file, not the file itself), and I Am concerned that they could easily break. The ergonomic feel of the handle when using the file makes it easier to use. The storage case is perfect, organizing and protecting the tools. For my occasional use these files, it is a perfect set for me.

From some of the reviews I was expecting these to be quite janky, honestly, but was pleasantly surprised by how good the quality was. The only issue is how hard some of the files are to remove from the slot they are stored in. I am a strong guy and needed pliers to remove a few of them, but they loosen up and fit normally soon after.

Works wonderfully for sharpening scissors! I use them for sharpening my seam rippers as well. Also helpful for jewelry making to file down any sharp metal bits.
