It's definitely not whisper quiet but it's quiet enough to go in my crawl space and not be heard in the house which is what I needed. It directs the air almost like a tunnel so it works great to circulate versus a fan that spreads out. On medium power you can feel the wind from 10ft away!

I recently purchased the VEVOR Inline Duct Fan, 6-Inch 400 CFM, to replace the old fan in my kitchen hood. I must say, I am extremely impressed with its performance. Use the fan to ventilate radon from my basement/home. The speed of the fan is variable. The fan is quiet. I use a clothes dryer, vent hose to move the air from the duct fan to outside. The unit has been in use for a year with no issues. Radon concentration dropped from approximately 12 pCI/l to approximately 2 pCI/l over a period of several weeks. The EPA suggests the radon concentration in air should be less than 4 pCI/l.

This fan worked great for a bathroom exhaust for less than a year. it was only on durring business hours at a facility. 8 hours a day, 7 days a week (tops) for a year is less than 3000 hours. The fan should have lasted 10 years at the advertised lifespan (30,000 hours), but only lasted one year for me.

Powerful, Light weight, low noise level (around 40 db) and affordable. Variable speed control is a good option to have with design allowing to spin to fit the area of which you are in.

A parfaitement fonctionné ... 3 semaines. La molette de variation d'aspiration est très pratique. Il est plus bruyant que je l'imaginais (surtout à plein régime), des petites vibrations désagréables dans le plastique par endroits mais globalement j'étais très satisfaite. Le plus gros problème, c'est qu'il a parfaitement fonctionné 3 semaines (quelques heures par jour) puis plus rien. Du tout. Sans symptôme annonciateur, ni odeur de brulé, j'ai pas eu d'orage non plus. Mystère. Donc ça repart et moi je vais voir ailleurs
