We love our side awning. We have a high porch and wanted to block out the neighbors junk and give some privacy. As you can see by the picture, it is a wee bit windy. We don’t leave it up in high winds or rain. It was easy for my husband to install.

This worked for us as a privacy screen next to our hot tub. We had tried shades, but they were too see-through. This shows shadows if there is a light on either side, but it is very private. It has stood up well in the wind also. It will luff like a sail at the top when there is a 30+ mph wind, but it doesn’t affect the privacy. We highly recommend for this purpose.

We installed a hot tub on our elevated back porch this spring. Awesome but we were in plain view of multiple neighbors. This was just large enough to span an opening that gave us privacy when we wanted it. Putting it up went well, construction seems fine. Has always retracted correctly and have had zero issues with it. We done use it on windy days as I think that might be an issue. Very happy with it.

I bought this to use for a wind block on a porch. When there’s wind, it just unrolls and bulges away from the direction of the wind and creates a big sail. If the awning had some sort of lock as you pulled it out, it may work for a wind block. Very disappointing.

Si tratta di un ottimo articolo, purtroppo quello che mi arrivato presenta la maniglia spaccata proprio nella parte che serve per tenere aperta la tenda retattile. Restituire questo voluminoso articolo a causa della maniglia danneggiata non mi sembra il caso. Spero che il fornitore legga questa mia recensione e mi venga incontro facendomi avere solo una nuova maniglia. Accludo foto dell'inconveniente auspicando una felice soluzione.

Vediamo come si comporta nel tempo, per adesso ha risolto il mio problema ed esteticamente è carino. Attenzione però, l' attacco del piantone rotola tenda laterale è a parete e non a pavimento. Se non avete una parete alta da un lato non riuscite a fissarlo. Potrebbero mettere una staffa a pavimento almeno come optional.
