Have it in through the wall sleeve. The previous AC was a bit bigger, so had to make some adjustments due to smaller size, but no big deal. Kept house cool, especially in those hot days we had this past year in PA. Air quality great. Not too noisy. Highly recommend.If this post never gets updated, it's because it's continued to operate at a high level.

Worst experience ever from AMAZON! We received the AC unit, paid to have it installed and turned on the unit and it would to blow. We paid an Electrician to check it and he said it was a faulty unit. We reached out to Amazon and they scheduled a pick up and it is a week later and it still shows it has not been returned and no refund has been processed. I called amazon and they stated it would take 30 days for the refund to process. I call BS!

After two months, unit not working and getting the run around and still no help. Stay away!URGENT UPDATE!!! Please do not even consider ordering from Whirlpool for many reasonsâ€¦first is Whirlpool DOES NOT MAKE AIR CONDITIONERS! The units are made by XLS and has permission to USE the Whirlpool NAME to sell their products to the public. Have spent many countless hours on phone and corresponding through email to XLS and Whirlpool CORPORATE OFFICE pleading for assistance in replacing my brand new unit or buying back so I may purchase replacement as have had to endure this heat wave WITHOUT AC for the month of June and still without AC. XLS stated 4 weeks ago they have no replacements and I have to wait until a new shipment comes in sometime in July 2021. My many pleas begging for help were ignored even after sending emails with temperature readings of 85-90 degrees inside my house. Corporate offices for both XLS and Whirlpool made promise after promise, but never following through over the last 10 days, leaving me to continually suffer in this brutal weather as I cannot afford to purchase another AC unit. The choice is yoursâ€¦I

The only real downside I've experienced in the first few days was the absolutely terrible manual that has pictures that aren't the same as my product, multiple optional steps with confusing instructions. The provided screws don't even seem to work for the grill addition which i was unable to do because the screws were larger than the screwholes on my unit. Installation took me 2 hours and I left out the double grill because of this. It's quiet on low and I haven't needed to set it higher as it keeps my ~400 sq ft room very cool (~63).
