very useful for making homemade donuts and placing it into the oil and not getting burned. might put on 10 pounds just from making several hundred dozen donuts.this tool will also be useful for pulling out onion rings from hot oil. 10/10

12†diameter is accurate. It’s huge and definitely sturdy enough for it’s intended use.My use: giant cat litter scoop. And it’s sturdy enough for that too! My cats are awesome and typically go outside to use the bathroom. After they used up all the loose dirt in their favorite spot, I filled the area with sand. So then I needed a way to sift through over 300 pounds of sand efficiently.Rakes don’t work well for separating the waste from the sand. I considered a mud shovel or a very narrow tine pitchfork, but they cost $50 and up. I was about to build a sieve from wood and rabbit cage fencing, but decided to give this a try first, and it works great. I wish it was a little deeper for my needs, but I’m sure it’s a perfect depth for its intended purpose.

I use these for cleaning out my ice fishing holes. They work great to get the ice shavings cleared out after drilling the hole. Other than maybe a rubberized grip, I couldnt ask for more.

Left wet overnight. Got minor surface rust but it cleaned right off. Used for skimming ravioli and tortellini from pot as they finished.

4 cats, two litter boxes equals lots of scooping ... Typical litter scoops are made of plastic with wide slats that allow small pieces of waste to fall through & remain in the box. Enter the Winco Wire Skimmer ... While I expect this wasn't its intended purpse, the Winco makes for a great cat litter scooper 1) it's long handle makes it easy to reach into the taller/deeper boxes 2) metal construction means its super strong - no more broken handles while trying to remove/scrap waste from the box floor & walls 3) the wire mesh insures you pick up all the waste & small pieces don't fall through and are easy to pick up ... Note, the Winco is a little heavy but it's a fair trade off for insuring our pets' boxes are clean & I'm not replacing yet another broken, plastic scoop.

sharp unfinished edges on support bars on handle - practically cut my fingers touching, holding handle. overall twisted handle, cheap chrome finish. very lazy, sloppy welds and not symmetrical at all. really, really heavy for what shoudl be a light skimmer, probably cheap heavy metals used in construction. save your money, buy something else.

Good product. Photos are accurate. It's got some weight to it. Dishwasher safe, which is great for quick clean up.A quick feedback to the manufacturer - please consider simpler handle design to eliminate unnecessary groves. This helps in keep the utensil clean in the long run.
