Chews through soft wood with ease, hardwood is okay. Doesn’t fit the universal flange of any angle grinder perfectly but vibrations are manageable. Works great for the price.

Don't play around with this thing because it is fast, sharp and cuts through wood like butter. Great for carving guitar necks.

Aggressively removes material, hold onto grinder well and watch direction you move, will kickback on you hard and fast, scary tool really, don’t want it getting ahold of you

I’ve been using this to carve out the bottoms of posts to fit the contour of a stone. I’m using southern yellow pine which is harder than Douglas fir and I’ve had no issues. The disc stays on tightly and all the teeth are still attached as sharp as ever.It is very easy to use and does not wobble, meaning the wheel is well balanced. It’s very easy to attach to any 4.5†angle grinder.
