My cat that lives in my lightly insulated, or like a 3 season porch. She was the star of a tic to by the way,... But I purchased the actual HEATER BUDDY, and recently purchased this to make the heater circulate better.. AND IT TOTALLY DOES, AND IT TOTALLY WORKS WITH NO BATTERY OR POWER EXTRA! Kiki is a happier cat as well as safe from the colder nights that we brought her in... Buy this fan if you have the actual heater buddy. He knock off is not so compatible or something...

This is the first fan of this type that I've ever had. I have used it on top of a kerosene heater, and connected to a Buddy Heater utilizing the included specialized clip. I'm pretty amazed at how well it works. It's whisper quiet, does a good job on the kerosene heater, and REALLY pushes the heat when used on the Buddy Heater. I believe that this little fan, and the extras, are well worth the price. I will be buying a few more.

Doesn’t move as much air as I expected it to but it definitely makes a difference. For something that doesn’t require a power source(other than heat) it works quite well for my buddy heater.

It certainly spins the fan blades, but whether or not it circulates air more than natural convection current is debatable.

We hear our house exclusively by wood stove and this fan does a great job of moving air without any electricity. So far I’ve only tested it on the stove, since it hasn’t been cold enough to build a fire, but being a bit of a geek, I had to have this thing and I couldn’t wait to try it out.It starts really quickly and moves more air than I expected. It sits quietly on our wood stove just waiting for a crackling fire.I may buy a second one for the other side of the stove and to distribute air to the rest of the room. I am very happy with this purchase and I am looking forward to colder weather.

Doesn’t fit my brand new heater buddy. I had to use a dremel to grind out the hook area so it would even slip around the heater buddy’s metal rod grate, then the fan sits at an upward angle unlike the pictures. I was hoping for the fan to sit level since the hot air is already rising, kinda defeats the purpose to blow it upwards if on a raised surface.
