Ordered it and received it the next day no damage. Um i must say this was an easy install.Take a look at the u know what tube, how to install video and your off to the races. And look at your install paperwork. After taking the front screen off the only thing inside that i had to remove to be able to slide it in was the gas line. That's easy enough to do, just turn off the red handle get two 19MM wrenches and pop it off. I found it better to remove it from the red handle 1st then you can slip the box end of the wrenches on to get to the hose fitting at the other end. After that wiped the whole tray out of dust and dried it. I ended up doing this part 2 times, the 1st time i installed it i had it too much to one side and the motor was touching the metal firebox and when the fan came on it was making way too much noise even at low speed. After it cooled off i stuck both my hands in the box, one on each side and pulled it off and stuck it back in place ensuring it was flat against the back and not touching the sides. Tada!! it worked with a lot less noise. Now i know why it comes with thick foam double sided pads. Its so no metal touches metal. Wish he would have said that in the training video. I doesn't go in at any kind of angle, the back goes flat against the firebox back. OK now for the other problem i had... there was an electrical box inside with 2 extra spots to plug into and one of them was saying FAN so i plugged it in there. I did not work, ughhhh. well after saying some expletives for a couple of minutes it dawned on me to try the other open plug in spot and to my happiness it had power. So after that just zip-tie up all the loose wires toward the front so they wont be anywhere near the spinny fan thingy and close it up with the fan speed controller hanging out on this side of the screen. After lighting it up it does take about 15 minutes for it to come on, i think its set to 120 degrees and the thermostat w/magnet was stuck to the bottom of the fire pit box. I does blow it approx 3 feet out and i thought that wasn't good but i turned it off and you get no heat from it except about 1 inch away so the blower works in conjunction with your ceiling fan, turn that on and with all that heat blowing out it get circulated around the room and your wife's going to be looking hot in no time! All in all this is a Good product, easy to install and at a great price.Click Like if i help, thanks and enjoy your new found heat!!

This product saved us so much money! I called a company to have a blower installed in our fireplace as our builder did not do this, nor did they provide an easy connection to the outlet like they should have. We unfortunately did not even know to check this. The salesperson looked it up on Amazon while we were talking! He gave me all of the info and told me he couldn't touch the cost! How nice was that? Very!!! Anyway, it was very easy to install, however my husband first put on the ground. It should be installed above and behind the fire. It puts out the heat and keeps the heat off of the mantle and marble above the fireplace screen. It is a bit noisy, but we don't even notice after a couple of minutes. Overall, we are very happy with this product.

I called the professionals. They wanted $300 for the blower and $195 to install it. Even they told me I could install it myself. So, I decided to buy this model on Amazon for 20% of the cost. It installed very easily and is working wonderfully. Appears to be of a high quality and it operates quietly unless it’s on the highest speed…and then you can hear it just like any fan that is running.

This was way easier to install than I thought it would be. I hesitated on buying one because I assumed it would be difficult to install. Works great. Really pushes the hot air out. Love the fact it has a heat sensor on it so it knows when to turn on

On the blower motor received, the plastic clip/retainer that holds one of the electrical terminals in place was broken off; the terminal was only secured by the wire that was soldered to it. I took some electrical tape and did my best to secure it for installation. As with most products made in China, the instructions were incomplete and wrong. First, it references velcro to secure the motor when in reality what they provided was double sided tape; big difference, you usually only get one chance with double sided tape. Also, the instructions do NOT mention whatsoever where to place the thermostat and this is critical for the blower to turn on! You must place the magnetic thermostat on the bottom of the firebox, not the bottom or side of the pan. The pan will rarely get hot enough to trigger the thermostat to turn on the blower. Also, I have a Heatilator fireplace and the clearance was pretty tight… take the time to unplug and move aside any preexisting wires, etc. so you have a clean shot to the back of the pan… remember with double sided tape you don’t get many chances until the adhesive wears off… I also removed the glass to provide the extra few centimeters I needed to get the blower in the pan… also recommend not removing the double sided tape strips until you’ve have the fan in the final install position then slight turnover as needed to remove strips then place in final location. Lastly, not all outlets in the junction may be wired. My “fan” outlet apparently wasn’t wired and getting it wired was not a feasible option. So I used a dual outlet adapter in one of the junction box outlets that was wired… so would recommend verifying which outlets are wired and working prior to beginning the install so you know beforehand.Other than all that the blower seems to be working well.

Our natural gas fireplace is a heatilator brand. It came with no fan, so it was essentially only good to look at.The previous owner said they rarely ever used it. I figured we would not use it either, until my next door neighbor told me he bought a fan blower kit for his. I found this on Amazon, and figured I had nothing to loose since Amazon said it could be returned. It was fairly easy to install by following the instructions and looking at the pictures it came with. This is one of the best purchases I ever made. It turned our fireplace from a nice looking appliance into a wonderful heater that we have been using for many hours a day this cold December. Absolutely love it.I need to say that you must have an electric outlet under the fireplace in order to use this.
