I used about 50 of these so far. They are very nice quality. The fluting is formed well, and the size is correct, and these are well made. I will be buying more in other sizes in the future from the same distributor.

Dowels are fine but by the time they arrived I had figured out another solution. I'm not used to waiting so long for things from amazon.
