How to Use OKYOUK Grease Coupler?
Usually the Zerk on the machine is covered with dirt, dust, and contaminated grease, as shown in Figure 1.
- If not cleaned up, it can affect the coupler lockout, resulting in grease leakage. Dust and sediment can also enter the machine together when add grease, damaging expensive machines.
We recommend:
- Zerk fittings must be cleaned and used cleaning tools or rags.
- Fully push into the coupler head to ensure successful locking, and then add grease.
Release the thumb lever and have both hands free to operate your grease gun.
Warm Tips:
The Zerks locking uses a spring compression mechanism, which requires pinching the handle and applying a little thrust forward to push the locking head onto the Zerks, so that there is no leakage of lubricating grease.

Original coupler from my 20 year old made in India Harbor Freight grease gun measured in at .588â€, this one measured in at .537â€.My old couplers teeth were worn out and the inner bushing was broken. Making greasing impossible. This new coupler definitely is smaller in diameter. The jaw extend out, and a little pressure it slips on the fitting. I just rebuilt two drive shafts, and greasing the U-joints was a breeze. Definitely recommend, saved me time, frustration, and a cleaner grease job.

This device has six small fingers that grab upon the zerk to hold it in place. One of those fingers broke after only a few usages.I like the look in the feel of this unit and therefore in buying a second unit and hope it last longer???I’m hoping this one will last???

This coupler is easy to use, especially when detaching from grease fittings. I used it today in my 4th gen 4Runner. It fit into tight spaces, and attached and detached easily. The little yellow plastic Zerk fitting cleaning device is useful. No leakage.

I previously utilized a lock n lube and bought this as a replacement. On the positive it is cheaper. It has a long enough nose to connect to most recessed zerks. There are no leaks even at high pressures. Device is pretty easy to connect. The problem is that if a zerk is plugged and the pressure gets high, this device has no way to release the coupler! If you are successful in releasing you will take a grease bath from the high pressure grease that will fly everywhere upon release. This is a major opportunity for improvement in this product. With a release mechanism that is easy both under pressure and not, this would be a 5 star device. Without it, only 3 stars because plugged zerks for me happen to be fairly common working older equipment.
