In addition to its intended use, this dough blender is a handy gadget for making guacamole, mashing a few potatoes, making egg salad, and shredding chicken. It made short work of shredding a chicken breast for enchiladas, compared to the traditional method of using two forks. Plus, the chicken was more finely and unformly shredded. I am still experimenting with alternate uses. (The onion dicing experiment was a bust, but I think it will do nicely with chopping up steamed broccoli.)The item that arrived was exactly as described and shown in the pictures, with no rough spots or dull spots. The metal is thick, sturdy, and securely attached to the handle. The handle is not very wide, so this item may be too small for many people.

This is heavy duty with a sturdy handle. I bought it for pastry dough but grabbed it to chop up some olives and it did a great job. Only thing I can think to mention is the handle. It’s very sturdy, but for a small hand. It works perfect for me but too small for my husband’s hand. The other thing is the screw and nut on the handle. It’s protrudes quite a bit but not an issue if you just turn the cutter the other direction.

This is a very well made sturdy sharp tool that is excellent pastry adding cold butter to flour if for any reason you don’t want to use your fingers or can’t because of arthritic hands.It does the job very well and what’s more is easy to clean
