The braces work just fine but the screws are absolute garbage and will break off during screwing or the heads will easily strip. I had to buy replacement screws at Home Depot because the ones included are no good.

I cheated and ended up gluing the things to my shelves. I make apothecary or trinket shelves and thought these were my solution for support...no... be prepared to lose half of them roughly without even getting one secured in place. You'll need to use a giant thumb tack to start your hole everything else is to big.
