I’ve dehydrated several fruits and veggies and placed them into quart bags and quart jars.Because we live in the northwest, I also like to throw two or three of these packets in there to keep humidity low.These are the perfect size and work well. They’re food grade and arrive in a tightly sealed bag so they are ready to go when they arrive.The bag is resealable so make sure to seal it up tight.If for any reason they get saturated by ambient humidity, or you want to recharge them for re-use by using your oven, you can find instructions on the internet on how to do that.If like me, you have a dehydrator,.. I just place them loosely on one of the dehydrator racks and leave them in there for a day,.. while I dehydrate other fruits and veggies as usual.You can pretty much recharge silica packs like that indefinitely. Unless you give them away with jars or bags of fruit.If you do, just come back to Amazon for a refill.These are just about the right size for two to a quart sized package of fruits, veggies or jerky.

Added these to my spice containers because the cabinet where these spices are stored hold moisture. These pull moisture out of the the container and keep the spices dry, fresh and extent the spice life.I change them out every 90 days. Will be reordering more shortly. Worth the investment

I bought these to put in my daughter’s vitamins. Her melatonin would constantly get wet and goopy outside of the original bottle it came in. Now, when we sort her vitamins for the week, I put one of these silica in it, and it helps tremendously. It doesn’t take up a lot of space so that’s nice. I would definitely say they’re easy to use and they’re a good bang for your buck.

Perfekt für kleine Behälter, da die 1 gr. Tütchen recht klein sind. Preis hierfür ist auch akzeptabel. Leider kann ich noch nichts zur Qualität des Silikatgel sagen. Da ich noch ausprobiere.
