Thick 100% New Zealand Wool
We use only the best 100% wool for our mats. 1/2" thick and sourced from New Zealand. Helps prevent scorching and burning.
Professional Quality Results
100% Wool retains and distributes heat very evenly. The heat from the iron permeates the wool mat spreads and reflects back to your material. You can also lower your heat settings and, most of the time, steam is not necessary. Very little heat comes through to the bottom so you can even use it on a desk or table top safely, although a towel is recommended if using on a real hardwood surface.
Works Great for Embroidery Blocking
This mat is exceptional at ironing delicate embroidery projects. Just turn your material over (never iron from the front with embroidery), place a towel underneath and carefully iron your projects from the back. You can also use the mat to block your projects. Pins can be safely inserted into the thick 1/2 inch wool pad.

I’m loving the felt pressing pad and the silicone iron rest. It’s so much easier to have this handy when sewing pieces together for projects. It’s just the right size and there is no smell when you use steam with your iron. The surface is very smooth and the wool is a high quality. I was pleased no steam got through to my wooden table I have been using it on. The cutting mat is a real bonus and everything fits nicely into the carrying case so I can easily take it to sewing classes.

Great bundle to have for travel or for home storage. Some of my rulers fit in the carry bag too. I haven’t used the pressing mat yet, but will update if any issue.

The total set makes this perfect for traveling and taking my sewing with me! I love the pretty storage bag. The mat and cutting board fit nicely and are just the perfect size for all my bag sewing. I’m in love with the wool mats for ironing- (bought a giant horse blanket one for less than this price, yes I had horses) and have it covering my ironing board! I’m thinking of making a similar storage bag like this one for all my sewing rulers! It’s a good deal and a great present for sewers!
