I picked this up for finishing/cleaning up 3D prints, and it’s got every shape I need in both diamond coated and regular metal files. Does exactly what I need it to do, and the price was right. Happy with my purchase.

This 13-piece metal needle file set comes with six diamond files, six steel files, and a cleaning brush in a nice, folded black/blue zippered case for storage. The case holds all of the components very well in place and is a great addition considering the value of this kit. There are little straps that hold each file as well as the cleaning brush. I am very happy with the larger, in comparison to the files, cleaning brush's performance and it seems pretty sturdy that it will last quite a while. The little handles on each file are only two inches long, but I find them easy to hold and use. The quality of the steel and diamond files is certainly not the top tier out there, but they are more than adequate considering the value of this kit as a whole. They work great for DIY small projects either around the shop and hobby bench.

I mainly got this kit to sharpen my favorite tweezers, but I also like to do DIY/crafts so I’m sure I’ll find more uses for these down the line! They are lightweight and feel sturdy for SMALL projects, I wouldn’t recommend using them for bigger projects. I like how it comes in a portable case and with a wire brush to clean them. Would get it again!

I'm reviewing "13Pcs Metal Needle File Set, Premium Small File Set with 6 Diamond File, 6 Steel Files, Cleaning Brush & Carrying Case for Wood, Plastic, Jewelry, Leather, and DIY Wood File" which I received via the VINE program.I got this for one main reason, to fix my favorite pair of tweezers. I dropped them on a hard tile floor, and the point was smashed in to the extent that they wouldn't tweeze at all. The moment I opened the package, I grabbed the tweezers and with the diamond flat file, I got to work removing the bit of metal that smooshed the point. A few files later, my favorite pair of tweezers are able to tweeze once more!!It seems silly to say favorite pair of tweezers but it is what it is. The most important thing is that this file set lets me repair items that might otherwise get thrown away. Why throw away items that have been slightly misshapen or bent when a file set such as this can make them infinitely usable again?This is a very nice set of small files. I also do a lot of resin crafts and sometimes some wood crafts too. This set of files works very well for those types of purposes as well.The case is very nice, it holds every little file in its own place and when the file has debris in it, the wire brush will make quick work of cleaning it off.My new favorite set of tools to use in many different applications!

When I first opened the package, all I saw was a case, like a shaving kit. I thought there must have been some mistake, then I opened the case and saw the set of files I had ordered. I had not really paid any attention to the case, which is actually a very nice and well made case. And it will be a great help to me in keeping all of these nifty files in one place, instead of having to spend hours rummaging through boxes and drawers of tools looking for the right one.After opening the case, I was like a kid in a candy store running around (not literally) looking for any and every little imperfection or unseemly edge than I could now file down and smooth over. The sad thing is, at the end of the day, I am the only one who seems to notice all of the tiny surfaces I have upgraded. Oh well.

I'm very happy with these files, but not so much with the case.The case is almost 2 inches thick, mainly to accommodate the brush, which I don't really need. The brush itself has several bent bristles due to contact with the files when the case is closed, and I've already gotten poked by it while trying to remove files. Also, one of the diamond files has already poked out through the corner of the case; I fixed this by switching it with the flat file, which does not have a pointy end.All that said, I can't take away more than one star. The files themselves are great, and the price can't be beat. Recommended!
