Adheres well to both rug and floor, but you need to use more than just at the 4 corners to keep it down. Thankfully, there are several in the box, so you can utilise them along the edges.

Love these. They hold up great. They are a must have in my house for area rugs because I have cats and a dog who are constantly running around and kicking up the rugs. This completely eliminates that problem and keeps the rugs in place. They even hold up to vacuuming. I always make sure I have these on hand for when I’m changing out rugs. Also, they don’t leave a residue when removing from the floor after using them.

The product does not stick well to carpet. I used several pieces of the tape and none will hold the rug down.

Definitely grips the rug to the floor. Easy to use. Holds well; when vacuuming, the rug doesn't come up.
