I purchased these for a different purpose that didn’t work out. I’m sit these would work well for their original purpose.

Great quality drip pans. Rigid and hold shape well, yet malleable enough that they won't crack during use or being tossed around. Have held up to ATF and carb cleaner so far without any adverse reactions.I dedicated one for oil change/floor use and one for benchtop carb work. Very happy with them and wouldn't hesitate to reorder.

So until he gets this fixed, these drip trays are going to be the perfect solution. Made of a rigid but not brittle plastic, these are great for catching that slow leak or placing underneath your oil catch pan when changing oil to keep the random splash or two from hitting the floor.I am also planning to use one of these in our bike shop, since they would come in handy when adding sealant to tires or doing other jobs that could end up with something sticky or greasy on the floor.The only complaint I have is that when I first pulled these trays out of the packaging, they had this really odd burned plastic smell. I'm not quite sure what it was, but the odor went away after leaving them outside for a day or two. Not a big deal, but slightly off-putting when I first opened them up.Overall though, great trays for the shop or garage working on anything messy or that might drip a substance that could make a mess on the floor.
