Installation Procedure

While these do have decent seals on them and they function right, they DO NOT have the conical seal. More of a T-seal. They fit, but some of the seal material is wasted that is inside the hole, which is what I was trying to avoid. They install as easy as any other toilet tank bolt. Would have been better to have the conical seal for the price, so the value for my money was lost.

I had a leak in my 20 year old toilet bowl, so I ordered two sets of replacement parts at the same time in case one didn't work. Well this set was almost an exact match to the original bolts. I had planed to use some of the 20 year old brass bolts with the new gaskets from this kit to save some time. Turns out all the nuts, and bolts in this kit were metric size bolts M8-1.25 so they would not fit my old SAE 1/4 inch nuts. In the end it really didn't matter because these new stainless steel bolts are just as good as the old brass bolts, plus now I have all new matching parts inside my toilet again.This kit worked great for me.

Just normal toilet tank hardware. No frills, does the job, reasonable cost and does not leak. Recommended purchase.
