This oven thermometer is wonderful. It is easy to read, accurate and doesn't tip over on the oven rack.

I have a 21+ year old double wall oven. I wanted to calibrate both and check how long it took both ovens to reach 350 F. I did some research and ordered two different oven thermometers: I purchased this KKTHERMO because I liked the size and readability. The second one was a CDN thermometer recommended by America's Test Kitchen. The CDN was cheaply packaged and arrived broken. I returned it and ordered a replacement. The KKThermo came packaged in its own box and was bubblewrapped inside the box. I put both thermometers in the center of my oven next to each other. Both reached the exact same temps at the exact same time. So in my opinion both are accurate. I would recommend the KKThermo over the CDN due to packaging, and size. It's larger than the CDN and easily sits on an oven rack without wobbling and the display was easily read without opening the oven.

Using about a month- the accuracy seems really good (correlates to oven, conventional and convection) I ordered this one because the base of it was supposed to be large and wouldn't fall through the grids. Well, it doesn't, but it DOES tip over very easily. Unfortunately, i am not able to hang it off a shelf due to the configuration of the oven. So, good on temperature, easy to view, but tips. There are others that are less expensive that would do the same job

I now have a gas oven and just knew something was off. I love the range, but as a baker, the oven throws me off. This thermometer works great. I discovered that the oven is about 10 degrees off. I’m glad I now have the actual temperature. It matters. YWA!

So far works well, response time to get to complete temp a little slow but accurate.

Easy to read and having the option to set on oven rack or hang is great. I’m finally able to see what the temperature actually is before baking (my old oven doesn’t have a preheated setting).

If you compare photos from item gallery to my photo you can see the back ground face browned out with the heat on the first use. All the red colors blacked out. The white back ground turned brown. The increments in the red zones are no longer readable after it burned out from the heat. Surprisingly the only red thing visible was the dial. Accuracy was not good enough. It was reading about 30 to 50 degrees fahrenheit hotter than my two other oven thermometers and my oven temperature display on the control panel. I bough this thinking my older thermometers were not accurate due to their age and use. I concluded that my two older thermometers and the oven thermometer on the control panel are spot on accurate. This thermometer was accurate when it reached 550 degrees fahrenheit. That's the top of the operating scale. Not acceptable. I won't waste my time returning it. I'll probably trash it.Not worth the cost. I don't recommend it.

Seems to be quite accurate just don't want to use it in your barbecue it just kind of smokey looking on the inside but other than that it works well

Hope it’s working. Says my oven is 50 degrees off which would explain a lot of my issues baking. My only trouble is it gets in the way, or I knock it over once in awhile. Sometimes hanging it I can’t read what it says. Long and short, I’m happy with it, assuming of course it’s more accurate than my oven says
