Most readable of the three I’ve tried, but takes a long time to come to oven temperature. Matches the temperature set for the oven, eventually. Same complaint about the CDN, which is harder to read. My old Cooper-Atkins, which died of a fall after long service, was faster, readable, but not as easy to make out as this one,

Well brought this to test my oven’s temperature. Not sure how accurate it is but I think is doing a pretty good job so far. My cake was coming out undercook and my breads too. Apparently it took more than 30 mins for the oven to preheat to the correct temperature. And I was able to find out with this little gadget. For the price of the thing is worth having it in the house.

I wanted to see what the temps of my oven were to see if the electronic gauge was accurate. I was stunned by the inaccuracy of the oven depending upon where you place the thermometer. Once I placed the thermometer on the middle rack where I actually do my baking, I was pleasantly surprised to find out my oven temp is pretty accurate. The thermometer is easy to read and that is a plus. I am happy with this purchase.

Works just fine. I’ve used it over two months now up to 500F and as some other reviewers have noted, the clear cover is starting to get dark, but still readable. At this rate of darkening I’m looking at maybe six months to a year of normal use before needing to replace it. For $2-$3, worth it.Edit: after a whole year of use it’s still viewable and working great.

Kinda flimsy. Keeps getting knocked over and around the oven anytime I put something in or out. Don’t have a clue if it’s accurate because you have to have an accurate thermometer to verify! Duh! It definitely does not match the dial for what I think the temp should be but this is some fancy-dancy Italian range that doesn’t work worth a damn. It is hard to read with the oven door closed because markings are faint. Doesn’t do much good when lying on its back and it seems like it’s forever getting knocked over. Doesn’t really work for me and hanging loop doesn’t work w my oven.

the temperature knob on my oven is off. I know this because things had not cooked after the suggested time. cake inside was gooey. the cheese not browned. pizza not crisp. the solution was to monitor the inside. how hot was hot. the solution was this thermometer. hanging the thermometer on the top rack, turning the oven on to 350° for 30 minutes revealed the temperature was off by 75°. turning my know to 425° found the temp I expected. now I know.maybe I will remake and mark the knob for oven control. for now just knowing what is hot inside is enough.

Mi horno no tiene medición de temperatura por lo que este termómetro me resulta muy util, ademas que lo puedes en colgar de muchas maneras en la parrilla dentro del horno y es visible por la ventana. Es de acero inoxidable.

Es bastante preciso y reacciona rápido, sin embargo he horneado a 250 oC (450 oF) y ya se comenzó a oscurecer la parte blanca del termómetro. Sospecho que dentro de poco ya no podré ver claramente la temperatura.
