I can never have enough of these. These are one of my most used angle grinder attachments lately. I'll clean up sharp metal edges with them, I'll clean the surface of metal with them, they will remove rust or Mill scale and lots more! Give them a chance if you haven't already. They aren't super long-lasting but how well they work I don't mind. Plus they simply get smaller as they get older but they keep working.

These last relatively well and do a great job. These are good aggressive disks for stripping paint, crud, rust, etc. Good for cleaning metal before welding.

These work fantastic, but wear out fast! I mean really fast. Less than two minutes of use before you have to really put the pressure on. They still work after two minutes, but with a lot of extra pressure.

These things work great! They fit perfectly on my Dewalt angle grinder, nice a snug and within the guard. We have been trying to rehab a metal cabinet using paint strippers and they have not quite been doing the job. When these came up to try, we decide it would be the thing to do. They do an excellent job at cleaning off layers of paint. We had paint over powder coating on this cabinet and this disk went right through it easily. It was kind of fun seeing fresh metal underneath. As a newbie to this kind of metal stripping, I recommend using something to protect your airways, safety glasses, and gloves because it sparks. Lots of tiny metal bits fly off.

I used these on my angle grinder to strip paint from some old wood. It only requires a light touch and quickly takes it down to bare wood. If you press too hard, it will eat into the wood pretty quickly but if you just "let the tool do the work" it's easy to remove paint without damage. A brief test on a few rusted items also worked well, cleaning yo the metal nicely. I didn't see any wear in the short time I used it, so it looks like you will get very good life out of these. The price is certainly right. Recommended. Be sure to use eye protection and a respirator since old paint may contain lead or other toxic materials.

The pictures say it all. The vice took about 10 seconds to clean up completely. And the sheet metal has even less time to clean up this sample spot. Just a heads-up, if you use the shroud on your grinder, this disk is very thick, and I had to remove mine. No big deal, just an FYI. There was zero wear on the disk with these two small tasks so I suspect one disk will last for a considerable amount of work. I did not see any drawbacks; no metal was removed, as I can tell, only rust. I did a small job removing paint from a metal rod, and while it took a little longer, it performed well. The disks outperformed a high-grit sanding wheel for these two applications since those tend to remove metal. Nice disks.

works quite well. Easily strips the rust right off the metal with very little effort. However if the metal is oily, they do gum up from that. Otherwise super!
