Purchased these as replacements to bike rack purchase through Amazon. After much use the original straps were starting to tear up, so I was glad to find these on Amazon to keep my bike riding active. Good quality and price on the product.

I had my doubts since the first hole was smaller than 1/2 inch that it would fit. The rest of the holes were 1/2 inch, but the top hole will fit around the knob. It is one hole shorter that the orgional straps that came with it but is just long enough. I have the gray cradle which replacement straps are no longer available from Allen Sports. I took a chance and found these were a perfect fit and a great value. These straps are a little bit thicker then the orgional which means they should not tear like the orgional. Very satisfied.

These aftermarket bicycle straps are much longer than the standard once which came with my bicycle hitch adapter. The look sturdy enough, until I got to install two of them. The first one went on very tight, however I was able to get it on. The second one however ripped right away. I had to take the 3rd one out and try to put it on instead of the original. Not a good sign. Will see how they will hold up on the road.

The straps that came with my Reese Sportwing rack disintegrated quickly. I got 2--30 uses out of each one before they broke. These installed easily and seem to be much sturdier. Also, they are a bit longer than the Reese straps, so they fit easily over even the widest tires I have (29x2.5 and 27.5x3.0) with no stretching and two more holes. The slightly thicker end is much easier to grab than the Reese. Overall, an excellent product!

I needed longer straps for my Tyger bike rack. The original straps were too short for my Trek bike. These worked perfectly and have held up so far. If anything could be changed to improve it would be the rubber strength around the hole the attaches to the rack. The first one I installed split with not much pressure applied. I just cut that hole off and made it work. Have no other issues with these bands. Would buy again.

This is obviously a quality item, but based upon the pictures you cannot determine whether there is some type of additional rubber to allow it to fit into a slot. Be sure to check strap length, and whether there is any type of ability to fasten on one side.
