Cannot believe they really decided on a plastic oil plug. The right size (test with new drain plug) blade screw driver with a vise grip locked on the screw driver shaft will remove the old one (check threads of new one for proper rotation). Lube up the new plug and use the key feeling for the final click.

These are just like the oem plug. Cost for six plugs and the extraction/ insertion tool was less than an oem plug from the dealership.

the tool to remove the drain plug will twist and cannot provide enough torque to secure the drain plug. It's also very tight to insert -- I needed to sand it down. The drain plugs seems to be 'ok' but using the provided tool I could not securely fasten the drain plug which resulted in a slight oil leak. I cannot recommend this product.
