This is a must have. Very inexpensive. The factory doesn't use a magnetic plug. Idk if it's an extra cost, which is minimal. Or they don't want your 2gr fe 6 cylinder to last longer than it all ready does? It's a great product. Traps tiny metal pieces that is normal wear and tear. And it catches smaller particles that your stock filter can't. So it like an extra protection. Should be mandatory if you plan on keeping your Toyota for as long as possible.Which is already insane. If you use a stock oil filter every time you change your oil, with all synthetic Mobil 1 high milage. And use this drain plug with the magnet. Every 4500 miles. You too can reach 400,099 miles without any major oil related problems. Mine runs like new. Just educate yourself on how to maintain your Toyota. Then you know it's done right and with the right products.

Yeah, my oil drain plug perfectly matches the color of my car even though no one will ever see it because I change my own oil - what of it!?I love this thing and the price was right. It actually comes with 3 crush washers, not just the one pictured, so that was a nice surprise. The neodymium magnet was pretty strong, but my car is still relatively new so hopefully I'll never have to find out if it works well, if you know what I mean.Not much else to say, torqued just fine @ 40 ft-lbs as recommended by Honda.Will update if there are any problems during the next oil change.

This was for a 22 Tacoma and it fit and looked good, but it does require a larger wrench than stock (may be helpful as it will be harder to strip).

I use blue whenever I can because it matches the trim on my 350Z roadster. Same price for blue or any other color, so why not? The bluing did scratch off a bit from the socket, but no one will ever see it but the oil change guy anyway. No issues, as described, came with extra crush rings.

I replace the drain plug on all my cars with magnetic plug. This one fit right in place of the OEM.

Had to replace oil drain plug on my 2008 Mercedes GL450, 4.7 liter, worked perfectly, no more oil leak. Magnetic tip is strong too.
