Design, Assemble, and Dissemble
Eccentric Design, ISO 15488:2003(E)
The inside of the ER collet nut is intentionally designed like off-centering to help mount the ER collet much easier. It is in accordance with the requirements listed in ISO 15488:2003(E). If it is made symmetrical, the ER collet with the diameter larger than the inside size of the collet nut cannot be installed.
Assemble
Insert the ER collet into the nut at an angle. Lock it onto the eccentric groove of the collet nut and push it in. (Insert the cutter right after the step, before connect it to the holder/chuck/arbor.)
Inspection
Inspect the RPM of the ER collet, ER collet nut, ER collet holder/chuck/arbor, etc.
Runout Tolerance: 0.0004"
Dissemble
Take out the tool bit, press the end of the ER collet until the collet off the position. Push it out of the nut. (after take out the nut out of the holder.)

I'll probably only ever use 3 of these, but having all is nice. The hold well and I have 10s of hours on the 1/8in collet. Bit broke and slightly dinged it up (my own fault) light sanding of the roughed up edges from broken bit and it's still going strong!Case is nice!

I bought the imperial size set and the 1/16†collet was over cut so the “fingers†have a double cut and hold the 1/16†shaft of tooling at an angle. I tried e-mailing the company at the given address for service, problems or help and they won’t respond so I’m stuck with an unusable piece. Terrible customer support.

All but two of the collets were very accurate with hardly any run-out. Two of the smaller ones had unacceptable run-out. The company did, however give me a discount on the set. And I bought two more from a different brand that seem to be good

these came in perfect condition and are true for normal work.If you are building a Space Shuttle, you may want to weed them out.

once collet in cap cant get size of collet in. Example put a 1/4 collet in, cant get a 1/4 endmill in. Can from the back side but not the front.

great case a lot better then the small plastic ones ,great packing nice to see a company take pride in there items . have not tested run out but test fitted seams good .but compared to my other ER20 collets .they seam lighter and not as strong ..time will tell. BUT yes I would buy them again
