It's absolutely everything I hoped and then some. There was a little bit of a learning curve in setting the amount of coffee to be ground & the locking mechanism that attaches the hopper to the grinder is a little bit touchy (once it's secure, it's secure but getting there is not straightforward)That's the downside..and I still give it 5 stars because it is very quiet, much faster than my previous grinder, the hopper is generously sized and designed for a steady, even flow of beans into the grinder and the antistatic feature (however it's accomplished) allows all of the ground coffee to slide easily out of the receptacle, minimizing effort, mess and waste. The receptacle is NOT airtight but if you grind for each brew, that's neither here nor there. I would absolutely buy it again and I am so happy with it that I am kind of glad my old grinder developed problems.

I have used Krups grinders for many years but never liked that it was impossible to clean. This little jewel is not as loud and doesn't cause static with the coffee grounds. The stainless grinder can be taken apart and cleaned. Super easy to do. Love it! The only thing I would change is the end of grind beep. It just isn't necessary as you can tell when the grinder is finished. Great product, great price!

I have looked off and on, for over a year, for a burr grinder. Finally settled on this one. The price was fair and it produces an even grind (as compared to the cheap spice grinder I had been using). I leave it set to a course grind for my french press. It remembers my previous setting(s) so I just press a button and done. And it has a small footprint, which is nice.

This grinder is noticeably quieter than the Mr. Coffee grinder we had. Hopper is nicely sized. Digital controls are a bit overkill but overall a nice purchase. Grinds correct amount we need and to the correct coarseness ever time.

I wanted to upgrade from my handheld blade grinder (which sadly went kaput) and wanted to try out a burr grinder. I chose this model as a) it wasn't a million dollars like some of the higher end ones and b) it had a smaller footprint so it wouldn't take up all of my counter space.Pros:- Does the job - grinds coffee!- Easy to use controls - simple, relatively straight forward, and easy to learn- Small footprint - as said, a big plus to not take up my entire counterCons:- Messy - whether it's coffee grounds that spills out after you remove the canister or extra coffee going flying as you pour the canister out, there is a constant mess on my counter from this grinder. Static is clearly an issue with my machine (can't vouch for the other reviewers who say otherwise). It's not a deal breaker but it is a pain- Loud - Hand grinder was clearly quieter than this - maybe unavoidable?Rating: 3.5 Stars (Rounded to 4 Because 3 felt too harsh)Recommendation: Buy if you want a cheaper, smaller burr grinder but be prepared for the mess

I am OBSESSED with this grinder! we had the Cuisinart burr grinder with hopper and used it daily for five years before it died. I’m so glad it did, because I didn’t know what I was missing! First of all, I ordered the new one the day we lost use of the old one and it was attempted delivered the next day?! we live in Alaska, so this is unheard of. there are two things about this grinder that make it way better than our last. the uniformity of the grind and the lack of mess. I didn’t realize the grind was as big of an issue as it was, I’m not out here throwing away money for tiny issues that aren’t really issues, you know? there are a lot of grinders to choose from and many brands I am not familiar with, but I read the part about it being static free and “clean†and that was enough for me to try it. and it is LEGIT so clean. literally no grounds stick to the sides of the container, I don’t have to tap it, they are all the same size, not some course and some extremely fine each time I run it. HOW does it work?! HOW is it so clean?! I just want to keep running it to see if it’s just as awesome as last time I ran it. like I said, obsessed. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
