I am excited to get these seeds started! They came with complete works to hydroponic grow in AeroGarden like systems. You not only get the seeds, but the cones, hoods, sponges, and nutrients. A 12 pod kit! My green thumb is getting itchy, summer will soon be here!

seeds are not implanted in pods and this makes it much harder to germinate. Not really a great replacement for original seedpods.

I thought this would be assembled but you have to put it together yourself. It was pretty easy to do but the seeds are very small and a little difficult to put in the pods. I was hoping it was pre assembled like the Aero pods. It does look like one of the basil plants is starting to grow. Hopefully it will be as good as the Aero pods.

Great alternative to the Aerogarden pods! It came with the seeds separately, so can grow anything in the pods.

Very, very disappointed in the basil seed pods. Seeds that do germinate are fragile and pale. Pods turn moldy.

We've been growing salad greens, basil, and even cherry tomatoes for years in our Aerogarden, but the first pre-planted mint pod in this purchase has failed to grow. Pictured is our Aerogarden with basil, lettuce, and scallions growing. The empty pod behind the scallions is where the mint pod is planted. We add Aerogarden's liquid fertilizer and water as directed by the garden with great results, but no joy with the mint pod. We will plant another mint pod, and depending on the result, I will add or subtract a star of my review.
